Dedicated to helping people become better leaders and communicators, Toastmasters International maintains several educational initiatives, including the Youth Leadership Program. Designed for individuals under the age of 18, the program is held either during school, after school, or on weekends, and consists of eight one- to two-hour sessions.

Participants in the Youth Leadership Program are selected by a Toastmasters club or cooperating organization. Each workshop is limited to 25 students.
In the workshops, participants are given the opportunity to learn about controlling their gestures and voice as they prepare and give speeches. Students also give constructive feedback to their peers.
